For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schleusing, Jugendbrigade, Entrinden ADN-ZB Schaar 18.7.1983 Bez. Suhl: In der Aktion "Unserem Wald jede Hilfe" haben sich Schleusinger FDJler, Schüler, Lehrlinge und junge Facharbeiter zu einer zeitweiligen Jugendbrigade "Karl-Marx" zusammengeschlossen und sich vorgenommen, 500 Festmeter Schadholz aufzubereiten. Um dem Borkenkäfer die Angriffsfläche zu nehmen, werden die Stämme entrindet.
