For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Tettau, Blick ins Dorf ADN-ZB Weisflog 10.1.84 Bez. Cottbus: "Mach-Mit"-Wettbewerb- In der Ortschronik der 3.000 Einwohner zählenden Gemeinde Tettau im Bergarbeiterkreis Senftenberg gilt das zurückliegende Jahr als bisher erfolgreichstes. Erstmals übertraf die Bilanz im "Mach-Mit"-Wettbewerb eine halbe Million Mark bei Erhalten von Wohnraum. Seit 1979 haben sich für jeden 6. Bürger die Wohnverhältnisse verbessert. Neben dem Bürgerfleiß sind Begeisterung für Sport und Gastlichkeit zu traditionellen Festen als "Besonderes Kennzeichen" zu werten. - siehe auch 1984-0110-20N -
