ADN-ZB Sindermann 13.11.84-erd-Rostock: Reinhaltung der Ostsee- Ölverschmutztes Wasser von Tankern und aus Maschinenräumen aller anderern Schiffstypen wird im Seehafen Rostock mit Hilfe einer leistungsfähigen Ballastwasser-Aufbereitungsanlage gereinigt. Die Anlage garantiert seit 1979, daß die Seehäfen Rostock, Wismar und Stralsund bei ständig zunehmenden Güterumschlag ihrer Mitverantwortung bei der Reinhaltung der Ostsee gerecht werden. Mehrere Entsorgungsschiffe der Rostocker Bagger-, Bugsier- und Bergungsreederei übernehmen von den Schiffen das ölige Wasser zum Weitertransport zur Reinigungsanlage im Ölhafen. Das Entsorgungsschiff "BAWA 1" (Foto) hat am DDR-Frachter "Aue" festgemacht und übernimmt das ölverschmutzte Wasser. 7000 bis 8000 Tonnen Öl werden auf diese Weise jährlich gewonnen. Die mit einem kostenaufwand von 15 Millionen Mark installierte Ballastwasser-Aufbereitungsanlage unterbietet den international geforderten Wert von 15 Milligramm pro einem Liter Wasser. Die DDR entspricht damit der con den Ostseeanliegerstaaten vereinbarten "Konvention über den Schutz der maritimen Umwelt des Ostseegebietes." |
