For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Semperoper, Zuschauerraum, Ehrenloge ADN-ZB Häßler 9.2.85 Dresden: Semperoper. Am 13.2.1985, dem 40. Jahrestag ihrer Zerstörung, wird die weltberühmte Dresdener Semperoper feierlich wieder eröffnet. Der Zuschauerraum - hier ein Blick auf die Ehrenloge im 1. Rang - wurde weitgehend originalgetreu nach den Plänen Gottfried Sempers (1803-1879) aufgebaut. Nach historischem Muster entstanden zum Beispiel die Leuchten, 363 Leuchten im gesamten Haus, unter Verwendung von Messing. Sie wurden von Werktätigen des VEB Spezialleuchtenbau Wurzen und ihren Kooperationspartnern hergestellt. (siehe 1-11n und 13n) Achtung Redaktionen! Sperrfrist bis 13.2.85, 19 Uhr!!
