For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Zimmermann-28.3.85-hü-Berlin: Ehrenfriedhof - Auf dem Friedhof Wiesenburger Weg in Marzahn wurde am 7. November 1958 ein Ehrenfriedhof eingeweiht, der das Andenken jener Sowjetsoldaten bewahrt, die den Ort am Abend des 21 April 1945 befreiten. In Gräbern und einer steinernen Urne befinden sich die sterblichen Reste von Angehörigen der Sowjetarmee, die bei der Befreiung Berlin ihr Leben ließen. -siehe auch die Fotos 1985-0328-23 u. 25N- |
