For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Leubingen, Getreideernte ADN-ZB Ludwig-16.8.1985 Bez. Erfurt: Zu den Spitzenreitern des Bezirkes Erfurt gehören bei der Getreideernte die Genossenschaftsbauern des Kreises Sömmerda. Bei günstiger Witterung wollen sie auch am Wochenende jede Stunde zur Fortsetzung der Erntearbeiten sowie der Wiederbestellung abgeernteter Flächen nutzen. Mit rund 41000 Hektar bewirtschaften die acht LPG-Pflanzenproduktionen dieses Kreises die zweitgrößte Nutzfläche des Bezirkes. Allein auf den Feldern der LPG (P) Leubingen sind rund 1500 Hektar Weizen zu ernten.
