For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Motzlar, Blick in den Kindergarten ADN-ZB Schaar 24.3.86 Bez. Suhl: Gemeinde Motzlar-Ein Bild des allerorts bekannten Sandmännchens schmückt den renovierten Kindergarten in der Gemeinde Motzlar. Rund 200 Bürger des nur 370 Einwohner zählenden Rhöndorfes schufen 1985 im "Mach-mit-Wettbewerb2 Werte über 255000 Mark. Zwei Eigenheime wurden fertiggestellt, drei Wohnungen modernisiert, Fassaden gestaltet. Des weiteren wurden eine Schwesternstation geschaffen und der Kindergarten verschönert. Motzlar erhält eine Ehrenurkunde für hervorragende Leistungen in der Bürgerinitiative "Schöner unsere Städte und Gemeinden - Mach mit!" zu Ehren des XI. Parteitages der SED.
