For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Cottbus, Theater ADN-ZB Weißflog 3.10.86 Cottbus: Jugendstiltheater wird wiedereröffnet-Das große Haus des Theaters der Stadt Cottbus wird am 3.10.96 nach fünfjähriger Bauzeit wiedereröffnet. Das denkmaglgeschützte Jugendstilgebäude wurde modernisiert, blieb aber architektonisch originalgetreu erhalten. Am 2.10.1908 war das Gebäude, eine Arbeit des Architekten B. Sehring, eingeweiht worden. Jetzt wird es mit der festlichen Premiere des "Rosenkavalier" von Richard Strauss neu eröffnet. (siehe 15 und 16 N)
