For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Weimar, Weltzeituhr ADN-ZB Hirndorf 14.10.1986 Bez. Erfurt: Auch Weimar hat jetzt eine Weltzeituhr. Sie ist zwar kleiner als ihre Berliner Schwester auf dem Alex, aber sie zeigt außer der Ortszeit und den Zeiten in aller welt auch den Druck, die Feuchtigkeit und die Temperatur der Luft an. Die Uhr, die zum Nationalfeiertag der DDR aufgestellt wurde, stammt aus dem Uhrenwerken der Stadt. (siehe 8N)
