For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Wismar, Ausbildung zum Forstfacharbeiter ADN-ZB Sindermann 19.6.1987 Bez. Rostock: Jugend- An der Betriebsberufsschule "Johannes Warnke" des Staatlichen Forstwirtschaftsbetriebes Wismar werden gegenwärtig 170 Jugendliche als Facharbeiter für Forstwirtschaft ausgebildet. Etwa zwei Drittel von ihnen schließen nach dreijähriger Lehrzeit zudem mit dem Reifezeugnis der 12. Klasse ab. Zur berufspraktischen Ausbildung gehören auch das Holzeinschlagen, die Pflanzenzucht und die Pflege von Jungbeständen. Beim Holzeinschlag ist Uwe Baumgarten, Lehrling im dritten Ausbildungsjahr mit Abitur. Fachgerecht wird ein Fallkeil mit einem Sol- und Dachschnitt mit der Motorsäge gesetzt. Nur Lehrmeister Jörg Stübe darf bei dieser Arbeit in der Nähe seines Schützlings bleiben um die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte zu beobachten. - siehe auch 1987-0619-1N -
