For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Häßler-14.10.87-pe-Dresden: Zwingerhof- Mit Stahlbändern werden die Rasenflächen im Zwingerhof eingerahmt. Die Fontänen und die "geformten" Rasenflächen bilden einen besonderen Schmuck des barocken Zwingerhofes. Die Hofgestaltung korrespondiert mit der Architektur der Gebäude. Der Zwinger wurde 1710-1732 als architektonisch gerahmter Festplatz erbaut. Der Hof wurde dann zu Turnieren, Tierjagten und Festen genutzt. (siehe 4N)" |
