For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Cottbus, Bahnhof, Bahnhofsvorplatz, Stehle
ADN-ZB Weißflog 20.1.88 Cottbus: Der Metallgestalter Manferd Vollmert schuf gemeinsam mit dem Cottbuser Holzgestalter Heinz Garzella die Stehle mit dem Titel "Energetische Reflexionen", die vor dem Cottbuser Bahnhof ihren Standort gefunden hat. Es ist eine Kombination von hochpoliertem Edelstahl mit jahrtausend alter Mooreiche aus einem Lausitzer Tagebau, die seit Ende 1987 die Blicke der Passanten auf sich zieht. Manfred Vollmer erfüllte sich damit ein langgehegter Wunsch. Der Künstler aus Seidewinkel bei Hoyerswerda ist seit mehreren Jahren als Abgeordneter tätig.
