For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin, Blick in eine Kleingartensiedlung ADN-ZB Ritter 21.4.88 pe Berlin: Zum VKSK-Kongreß. Auch als Spaziergänger kann man die Schönheit der Natur in einer Kleingartenanlage genießen. Die VKSK-Anlage Kissingen in Pankow-Rosenthal ist mit ihren 146 Parzellen seit zehn Jahren "Staatlich anerkanntes Naherholungsgebiet". Auch einer Fläche von 1 780 ha gibt es in Berlin 36 840 Kleingärtner mit 74 268 Mitgliedern des VKSK. Zusammen mit anderen Sparten zählt der VKSK in der Hauptstadt 92 481 Mitglieder (s. 21, 22N)
