For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Flöha, Gewerkschaftsbibliothek ADN-ZB Thieme 20.12.88 Bez. Karl-Marx-Stadt: Ein modernes Sozialgebäude mit einer Gewerkschaftsbibliothek entstand durch komplexe Rekonstruktion eines alten Fabrikgebäudes im Werk Hohenfichte des VEB Vereinigte Baumwollspinnereien und Zwirnereien Flöha. Die Wettbewerbs-Sachbearbeiterinnen Gertrud Helke (vorn) und Angelika Einhorn suchen sich ihre Bücher, die sie kostenlos entleihen können, aus. In dem umgestalteten Altbau wurden für die Arbeiter und Angestellten auch eine Arzt- und eine Zahnarztstation, ein Mütterberatungsraum sowie eine Gemeindeschwesternstation geschaffen.
