For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Frachter ADN-ZB Sindermann 25.12.88-tre - Rostock: Güterumschlag an den Weihnachtsfeiertagen - Die Seeleute von über 40 Tankern, Massengutfrachtern, Containerschiffen unter vielen internationalen Flaggen werde die Weihnachtsfeiertage im Rostocker Überseehafen verbringen. Bereits einen Tag vor dem Weihnachtsfest war mit dem Umschlag von über 20, 3 Millionen Tonnen Gütern der bisherige Jahresumschlagrekord von 1982 erreicht worden. Bis Jahresende wollen die Rostocker noch weitere 500.000 Tonnen bewältigen.
