For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEB Baureparaturen Friedrichshain, Brigade Piphardt ADN-ZB Roeske 3.4.1989 Berlin: Wahl- Die Brigade Piphardt steht geschlossen hinter dem Entschluß Hendrik Safts, zu den bevorstehenden Kommunalwahlen zu kandidieren. Der 23jährige Maurer (3.v.l.) vom VEB Baureparaturen Friedrichshain hat sich in den vergangenen Wochen und Monaten häufig mit seinen Kollegen darüber unterhalten. Alle Hinweise, die von Wolfgang Henkel, Brigadier Uwe Piphardt, Thomas Teschner, Walter Soch und Hartmut Dietz (vlnr) sowie den anderen kamen, betrachtet er als eine wertvolle "Starthilfe".
