ADN-ZB/Ludwig 21.8.89 Bez. Erfurt: Gewässerschutz Mit laufenden Kontrollen wachen die Mitarbeiter der Staatlichen Gewässeraufsicht im Bezirk Erfurt über die Qualität der durch das anhaltende Niederschlagsdefizit dieses Jahres belasteten Gewässer. Karl-Heinz Czerner entnimmt eine Probe aus der Gera, die gleich vor Ort auf ihren pH-Wert und den Sauerstoffgehalt analysiert wird.

Etwa 400 Inspektoren der Staatlichen Gewässeraufsicht - unterstützt von annähernd 1.600 ehrenamtlichen Helfern - überwachen in der DDR die Einhaltung der Richtlinien des Gewässerschutzes durch staatliche, genossenschaftliche und private Nutzer.
