Die Polizei, die regelt den Verkehr...
...auch auf dem Wasser. Der Abschnitt des Rheins zwischen Köln und Bonn wird bereits wieder von durchschnittlich täglich 180 Schleppdampfern, Kähnen und Motorschleppern in Berg- und Talfahrt passiert. Die Aufsicht über diesen regen Verkehr hat die deutsche Wasserschutzpolizei, die auch auf ausländischen Schiffen die Kontrollerlaubnis hat.
Unser Bild zeigt einen Ausschnitt vom regen Schiffsverkehr auf dem Rhein. Im Vordergrund: ein Boot der Wasserschutzpolizei. Die Boote werden jetzt wieder mit Funk- und Funksprechanlagen ausgerüstet werden.
