For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-4.11.1953 Re-Ho. SAG-Betriebe werden übergeben. Am 20. bis 22.8.1953 verhandelte die deutsche Regierungsdelegation in Moskau mit der sowjetischen Regierung. Bei den Besprechungen, die in einer Atmosphäre tiefer Freundschaft und voller Gleichberechtigung der beiden Staaten geführt wurden, kam die Regierung der UdSSR zu dem Entschluß, die 33 SAG-Betriebe, die sich noch auf dem Territorium der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik befinden, dem deutschen Volk ab 1.1.1954 kostenlos zu übergeben.
