For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Hüttenarbeiter im Gespräch Zentralbild Siegert 5 Mot. 27.3.1954Verpflichtung zum IV. Parteitag der SED im Stahl- und Walzwerk Gröditz. Die Stahl-und Walzwerker von Gröditz verpflichteten sich zu Ehren des IV. Parteitages der SED den Quartalsplan bereits am 28.3.1954 zu erfüllen. Das gesteckte Ziel erreichten sie schon einige Tage früher. Am 24.3. war der Plan bereits erfüllt. Verschiedene Brigaden übernahmen zusätzlich noch andere Produktionsverpflichtungen. Die Brigade am Ofen 6 verpflichtete sich 1954 600 to Stahl über den Plan hinaus zu produzieren. UBz: (vlnr) Die Schmelzer Strauch, Seidel, Lassahn und Josch am Ofen 6.
