Wismar, Mathias-Thesen-Werft, Ausrüstungskai Zentralbild Quaschinsky-28.4.1954 Sta.-6Lot.- Mathias-Thesen-Werft in Wismar baut Motor-Frachter. In den großen volkseigenen Schiffswerften an der Küste der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik gehen die ersten Frachtschiffe für unsere Handelsflotte ihrer Vollendung entgegen . Auf der Mathias-Thesen-Werft in Wismar werden in den Motor-Frachter "Stralsund" zur Zeit die Maschinen eingebaut. Die "Stralsund", ein 1.000-BLT-Schiff, wird dem VEB Seereederei vor allen für den Verkehr mit der Sowjetunion, der Volksrepublik Polen und den skandinavischen Ländern übergeben werden. UBz: Der Motor-Frachter "Stralsund".
