For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leuthen, Bauer beim Melken Zentralbild Schutt 2 Mot. 29.3.1955 Melkermeister Otto Bosoks Beitrag zur Verwirklichung des Ministerratsbeschlusses. Melkermeister Otto Bosok vom Volksgut Leuthen, Bez. Cottbus erklärte: "Auf Grund des Ministerratsbeschlusses vom 10.3.55 zur Steigerung der tierischen und pflanzlichen Produktion habe ich mir das Ziel gesetzt, in diesem Jahr den Stalldurchschnitt um 300 Liter, also auf 4500 Liter zu erhöhen. Darüber hinaus will ich mit fünf Kühen die 6000-Liter-Grenze überschreiten. Die beste Kuh, "Olga", hat vom Januar bis jetzt etwa 2500 Liter Milch mit 3, 4 Prozent Fett gegeben. Die Tagesleistung bei ihr beträgt zur Zeit 32 Liter. Von ihr sollen bis Jahresende 7500 Liter Milch gemolken werden. Insgesamt werde ich gegenüber dem Vorjahr etwa 14 Tonnen Milch mehr erzeugen und so den Ministerratsbeschluß verwirklichen helfen.
