For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rothenburg, Walzen einer Wiese Zentralbild Mohn 2 Motive 30.4.1955 Frühjahrsbestellung im Bezirk Dresden Traktorist Helmuth Slchian von der MTS Rothenburg, Kreis Niesky, bleibt jetzt nicht mehr "sitzen". Er hat an seinem "Pionier" Moorräder angebracht und schafft so in der Schicht 5 Hektar Wiesewalzen. Seine Maschine arbeitet ständig in zwei Schichten.
