For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Themar, Möbelfabrik, Produktionsstraße Zentralbild Bez. Red. Erfurt 4 Motive 12.1.1956 Wittig Taktstraße im VEB Südthüringer Möbelwerke. Im VEB Südthüringer Möbelwerke in Themar sind die Taktstraßen zur Montage von Nachtschränken und Frisiertoiletten der Anfang zur großzügigen Umgestaltung des Betriebes im Sinne der Forderung des 25. Plenum der ZK der SED. -Nach einem schon heute feststehenden Perpektivplan für den Verlauf des 2. Fünfjahrplanes wird bereits seit Beginn des Jahres 1956 mit der Verwirklichung dieser Forderung begonnen. Bis zum Jahre 1960 sollen sämtliche Arbeiten der Verrichtsreihen und der Montageabteilungen weitgehendst mechanisiert sein. Nach Verwirklichung des gesamten Perspektivplanes hat das Werk die Möglichkeit, seine derzeitige Produktion zu verdoppeln. U.Bz.: Alle 15 (eins fünf) Minuten verlassen seit einigen Tagen zwei Nachtschränke und eine Kommode die neu in Betrieb genommene Taktstraße der Montageabteilung. Blick auf die "Nachtschrank-Taktsrasse" (im Vordergrund) und die "Frisiertoilletten-Taktstraße" (im Hintergrund). Im Vordergrund der Tischler Johann Trenk.
