For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Ringcafé, Gastraum Zentralbild Bez.Red.Leipzig 17.1.1956 Großes HO-Ringcafe in Leipzig Eines der schönsten Cafes der DDR, des neuerbauten HO-Ringcafes jetzt zum ersten Mal seine Pforten. Es liegt in zwei Etagen der neuen Wohnhäuser zwischen Karl-Marx-Platz und Roßplatz und bietet insgesamt 500 Gästen Platz. in den Sommermonaten können weitere 200 Personen vor dem Cafe und auf dem geräumigen Balkon angenehme Stunden verbringen, Etwa 30 verschiedene Gebäcksorten werden den Besuchern des Cafes angeboten.
