For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild/ 28.2.1956 Mitglieder der Regierung bei den Verletzten des Eisenbahnunglücks von Oschatz Am Tage nach dem Eisenbahnunglück bei Bornitz suchten der Präsident der Volkskammer der DDR, Dr. Johannes Dieckmann, das Mitglied des Politbüros des ZK der SED Hermann Matern und der Stellvertreter des Vorsitzenden des Ministerrates Willi Stoph die Unglücksstätte sowie das Kreiskrankenhaus Oschatz, das Städtische Krankenhaus Riesa und die Poliklinik des Stahl- und Walzwerkes Riesa auf, wo die Verletzten fürsorglich ärztliche Hilfe erhalten. Am Krankenlager der Verletzten überzeugten sie sich von der ärztlichen Behandlung. |
