For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Jacobsdorf, Bauer mit Kuh Zentralbild Neuer Tag 16.4.1956 Gute Erfolge der LPG "Ernst Thälmann" in Jacobsdorf, Krs. Fürstenwalde Viehpfleger Erhart Riedel mit seinem besten Tier, der Herdbuchkuh Dora, die im Vorjahr 5800 Kilo Milch gab. Die Viehzuchtbrigade der LPG will den Milchertrag pro Kuh im Jahr 1956 von 3152 (drei eins fünf zwei) Kilo auf 3300 (drei drei null null) Kilo steigern."
