For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Klein-Oschersleben, weidende Kühe, Bauer Zentralbild Biscan Me-Th 4.6.1956 Der Elektroweidezaun hilft witschaftlich arbeiten Die LPG "Sozialismus" in Klein-Oschersleben, Keis Wanzleben, hat einen Elektroweidezaun des VEB Elektro- und Industieofen- und Gerätebau in Meinigeng in Benutzung und ist mit ihm sehr zufreiden. Genossenschaftsbauer Robert Hermann hat es jetzt nicht mehr schwer, die 75 Kühe und färsen beisammen zu halten. Sie weiden genau dort, wo es am zweckmäßigsten ist, können nicht mehr ausbrechen und keinen Schaden mehr anrichten. Im Vordergrund der Handwagen, der die elektrische Anlage enthält, an die der Weidezaun angeschlossen ist."
