For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ziesar, Untersuchung einer Kuh Zentralbild Weiß 17.7.1956 Kampf gegen die Rindertuberkulose ( Bildbericht aus einem Sanierungsgebiet) (siehe Begleittext) UBz:Systematisch wird der gesamte Rinderbestand des Sanierungsgebietes untersucht. Die sicherste und schnellste Methode zum frühzeitigen erkennen der TBc beim Rind ist die Tuberkulinhautprobe. Auf dem Hof des Bauern August Wendt (rechts) in Ziesar wird durch den Fachtierarzt Dr.Röge nach erfolgter Tuberkulininjektion beim Zuchtbullen "Leu" die Hautdichte gemessen. An den Untersuchungen nehmen außerdem teil, der Milchleistungsprüfer Eilenberg (2.v.l.) als Mitglied des Gemeindebeirates und Diplomlandwirt Taege (2.v.r.) vom Tiergesundheitsamt Potsdam."
