For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Wlo-Krz. In Leipzig begannen die Sportveranstaltungen. Am Donnerstag, den 2.8.1956, fand in der HO-Gaststätte Elstertal in Leipzig ein Radball-Jugendturnier statt. Es gewann die Mannschaft von Motor Liebenstein vor Post Erfurt und Lokomotive Erfurt auf Grund ihres besseren Torverhältnisses. UBz: Im letzten Spiel des Turnieres standen sich Motor Bad Leibenstein und Post Erfrut gegenüber. Post Erfurt gewann 3:1. Vor dem Tor im Zweikampf Klaus Langlotz (Motor Leibenstein) und Dieter Stölze (Post Erfurt).
