For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Naundorf 22.9.56 Ausbildungsstätte für Chemielaboranten in Apolda Qaulifizierte Chemielaboranten sind sehr gesucht. Seit einiger Zeit wird deren Ausbildung so gelenkt, dass die verschiedenen Betriebe ihre Lehrlinge zwei Jahre zur Grundausbildung in den VEB Laborchemie Apolda delegieren und die jeweilige Spezialausbildung erst im 3. Lehrjahr in dem Musterbetrieb erfolgt. Um die Prüfung als Chemielaborant abzulegen, ist nach erfolgreichen Abgang aus der Mittelschule eine dreijährige Lehrzeit erforderlich. Abiturienten dagegen benötigen nur eine zweijährige Lehrzeit. Dem neuen Chemielaboranten steht es dann offen, weiterhin die Fachschulen für Chemie in Magdeburg, Köthen oder Berlin sowie die Chemie-Wirtschaftsschule in Leipzig oder die Fachschule für Lebensmittelchemie in Mittweida zu besuchen. Die Prüfung an einer dieser Schulen ist mit der Erlangung des Titels Chemie-Ingenieur verbunden.
