For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB Dittrich (Leipzig) -we-ber 26.8.1956 DDR-Schwimmeisterschaften in Leipzig Am 23.8.1956 fiel im Leipziger Schwimmstadion der erste Startschuß für die diesjährigen DDR-Meisterschaften im Schwimmen und Springen. Trotz ungünstiger Witterung konnten am 2. Tag der Meisterschaftskämpfe in fünf Schwimmdisziplinen die Titel vergeben werden. Ein neuer gesamtdeutscher Rekord über 4 mal 200 m Freistil wurde von der Staffel der DHfK aufgestellt. (von links nach rechts): Kurt Assmann, Hans Zierold, Hans-Joachim Dressler und Günther Müller. |
