Berlin, Gertraudenbrücke, Statue, Jungfernbrücke Zentralbild Weiß 7.12.1956 Wiedererstandenes altes Berlin (1956) Seit dem 6.10.1954 steht wieder die Bronzestatue der Heiligen Gertrud auf der Gertraudenbrücke am Spittelmarkt. Das Denkmal - 1896 von Siemering geschaffen - erinnert u. a. an das 1405 erbaute und längst abgerissene Hospital vor dem damaligen Gertraudentor, deren Schutzheilige Sankt Gertrud war. Im Hintergrund die Jungfernbrücke.
