For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Chemnitz, Tierklinik Zentralbild Schlegel 25.4.1957 K.-.-St. Karl-Marx-Stadt erhielt eine moderne Tierklinik Anfang dieses Jahres wurde in Karl-Marx-Stadt eine Bezirkstierklinik eröffnet, die mit einem Kostenaufwand von über einer halben Million DM erbaut wurde. Sie gehört zu den modernsten Einrichtungen ihrer Art in der Republik. Den Ärzten steht für die Behandlung der Tiere unter anderem eine Röntgenanlage und ein Untersuchungslabor zur Verfügung. Das Hauptgebäude ist mit zentraler Dampfheizung und hellen sauberen Ställen, in denen 30 Großtiere Platz finden, ausgestattet. In dem modern eingerichteten Operationssaal können die schwierigsten Operationen durchgeführt werden. UBz: Das Hauptgebäude der neuen Bezirkstierklinik.
