For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Turn- und Sporttreffen, Hochsprung Zentralbild Dittrich 20.7.1957 Turn- und Sporttreffen der Jugend in Leipzig. Im Rahmen des Turn- und Sporttreffens wurden am 20. Juli die Meisterschaften der Jugend in der Leichtathletik fortgesetzt. UBz: Neuer deutscher Meister im Hochsprung der männlichen Jugend B wurde Duska von Einheit Wittenberg mit 1,77 m. Das bedeutet gleichzeitig neuer DDR-Rekord. - Der neue deutsche Meister überspringt 1,77 m.
