Zentralbild Löwe 23.9.1957 Zum 8. Jahrestag der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik-Neuer Stadtteil in Wismar Im Jahre 1950 wurde in Wismar mit dem Bau eines neuen Ortsteiles in Vor-Wendorf begonnen. In dieser Zeit sind dort annähernd 3000 Neubauwohnungen mit einem Kostenaufwand von 56 Millionen DM entstanden, die vorwiegend von Werftarbeitern des volkseigenen Schiffbaubetriebes "Mathias-Thesen" bewohnt werden.
