Lauchhammer, Fahrt zur Arbeit Zentralbild Sturm Ulmer Vgt-Noa 20.12.1957 Der Antransport der Kumpel in der Braunkohleindustrie spielt eine große Rolle Im Senftenberger Braunkohlerevier liegt auch das Braunkohlewerk "friedenswacht", das besonders Kohle für die Großkokerei Lauchhammer liefert. Viele Kumpel aus Lauchhammer, aber auch aus den benachbarten Ortschaften sind hier beschäftigt. Es gibt verschiedene dabei, die einen sehr langen Anmarschweg zum Tagebau oder zu den Brikettfabriken haben. Aber die Kumpel lieben ihren Beruf und nehmen manche Stapaze, die ein sehr langer Anmarschweg verursacht, in Kauf. UBz: Baggermeister Kurt Bonath vom Vorschnitt des Tagebaues hat sich ein Moped zugelegt und erreicht so schneller seine Arbeitsstelle.
