For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin, Stralauer Allee, Bauarbeiter Zentralbild Zühlsdorf Frö-Qu. 26.6.1958 Stellungsnahmen zur Bezirksdelegiertenkonferenz der SED Groß-Berlin. Walter Kieler, Anbinder in der Brigade Haack auf der Baustelle Stralauer Allee, "Westberlin auf allen Gebieten zu überholen, eine Aufgabe, die uns die Bezirksdelegiertenkonferenz stellt, geht alle an. Ich glaube, daß dieses Ziel alle Werktätigen des demokratischen Berlin unterstützen werden. Wir Bauarbeiter auf der Baustelle Stralauer Allee wollen bis zum V. Parteitag der SED unseren Block 12 und den Block 15 bis zum ersten Geschoß fertigstellen".
