For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Quaschinsky Qu-ho. 12.8.1958 Aus der Arbeit des Instituts für Kunststoffe der Deutschen Akademie der Wissenschaften. GroÃe Aufgaben stellt der V. Parteitag der SED der chemischen Industrie unserer Republik. Ein wichtiger Zweig dieser Industrie ist die Chemie der Plaste und Kunststoffe, deren Anwendung schon heute in alle Gebiete der Technik und des Lebens reicht und deren weitere Verwendungsmöglichkeiten noch nicht annähernd erschöpft sind. Intensiv beschäftigt man sich daher mit der Grundlagenforschung auf diesem Gebiet im Institut für Kunststoffe der Deutschen Akademie der Wissenschaften in Berlin-Adlershof, dessen Leitung Dr. Wende hat. UBz: Im organisch-chemischen Labor werden die Polyesterharze hergestellt, aus denen die GieÃlinge zur weiteren Verwendung gewonnen werden. Im Vordergrund eine Kondensationsapparatur zur Herstellung der Harzgrundlage im labormässigen MaÃstab. Die Laborantin Christel Kebbert beim GieÃen von Polyesterharz. |
