For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Hotel "Astoria" Zentralbild Wlocka 14.8.1958 Erweiterungsbau des Hotels "Astoria" in Leipzig eröffnet Der komfortable Erweiterungsneubau des Hotels "Astoria" am Leipziger Haupfbahnhof ist am 13.8.1958 eröffnet worden. Damit steht den vielen in- und ausländischen Gästen der Messestadt ein neues bedeutendes gastronomisches Zentrum mit einer Gesamtkapazität von 480 Betten und 800 Gaststättenplätzen zur Verfügung. UBz: Vorderfront des neueröffneten Restaurants und Hotels "Astoria".
