For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Farnstädt, Bau einer Werkstatthalle der MTS Zentralbild Deckert 9.9.1958 Bau einer Werkstatthalle für die MTS Farnstädt. Anfang Juni wurde im Gelände der MTS Farnstädt im Kreis Querfurt mit dem Bau einer Werkstatthalle begonnen, die eine Länge von 76 und eine Breite von 18 Metern haben wird. Die Bauarbeiten werden von der Produktionsgenossenschaft des Bauhandwerks Aufbau Schraplan durchgeführt. Die Werkstatthalle, die im kommenden Jahr fertiggestellt sein wird, soll neben zwei modernen Reparaturhallen eines Schmieds, Schweißerei und Autogenschweißerei sowie u.a. auch eine Stellmacherei erhalten. UBz: Die sieben Meter hohen Pfeiler der Reparaturhalle werden gemauert.
