Jungingenieur zur Wahl
"Meine Eltern sind Kleinbauern. Früher hätten sie niemals die Möglichkeit gehabt, mich studieren zu lassen" sagte der Jungingenieur Karlheinz Wagner vom VEB Union Quedlingburg. "Ich lernte Dreher und studierte anschließend drei Jahre auf der Fachschule für Maschinenbau und Elektrotechnik in Karl-Marx-Stadt. Seit 1956 arbeite ich als Technologe im VEB Union Quedlingburg. Meinen Dank an unsere Regierung kann ich am besten dadurch abstatten, indem ich am 16. November die Kandidaten der Nationalen Front durch meine Stimme unterstütze."
