Seelow, Blick in die Wäscherei der LPG Zentralbild Zühlsdorf 26.1.1959 Moderne LPG-Wäscherei in Seelow eröffnet Eine moderne Wäscherei der LPG "Hammer und Sichel" im Werte von 100 000.- DM steht seit Jahresbeginn in Seelow den Bewohnern der Kreisstadt und den Bäuerinnen der umliegenden Dörfer zur weiteren Erleichterung der Hausarbeit zur Verfügung. Die Wäscherei, zu der auch eine Badeanstalt gehört, verfügt über fünf grosse Räume und kann 36 Tonnen Wäsche im Monat reinigen. Drei Waschmaschinen der verschiedenen Größen sowie eine Heißmangel erleichtern den Angestellen die Arbeit. UBz: Der Maschinenwächer Helmut Trappe an einer der drei Waschmaschinen.
