For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEB Galvanotechnik Leipzig, griechische Arbeiter Zentralbild Schmiidt 18.2.1959 Freiheit für Manolis Glezos In einer Gruppenversammlung in VEB Galvanotechnik Werk II in Leipzig forderten die griechischen und deutschen Arbeiter die Abteilung Großmontage Freiheit Manolis Glezos. Die griechischen Arbeiter in der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik verlangen gemeinsam mit ihren deutschen Arbeitskollegen die unverzügliche Freilassung dieses heldenhaften Patrioten. Sie wollen auch durch gute Arbeit diese Forderung bekräftigen. UBz: Im VEB Galvanotecknik in Leipzig Werk II waren es die griechischen Arbeiter Konstantinidis und Dellas, die in Verbindung mit der Parteiorganisation des Werkes in der Abteilung Großmontage die Seifert-Methode eingeführt haben. - (V. l. n. r. ) Konstantinidisn und Dellas mit dem deutschen Meister Buckowitz.
