For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Schulz 9.5.1959 Brüderliche Solidarität. Die Lösung der ökonomischen Hauptaufgabe unserer Republik fordert die Mobilisierung aller inneren Reserven und macht die Inanspruchnahme der Solidarität und Unterstützung der Sowjetunion und der volksdemokratischen Länder notwendig. Im Verlauf der nächsten 7 Jahre werden die Lieferungen der Sowejtunionan die DDR in fast allen wichtigen Grundstoffe um das Mehrfache erhöht. So beim Erdöl von 1 040 000 t im Jahre 1957 auf 4 800 000 t 1965. Für den Transport dieser Erdölmenge wird eine Ölleituing aus der Sowjetunion in die DDR gebaut, durch die alle 8 Minuten eine Tonne Erdöl fließen wird. Die 4,8 Mill. t Erdöl, die uns die Sowjetunion liefern wird, enthalten etwa soviel chemische Stoffe wie 72 Mill. t Rohbraunkohle, das ist ein Drittel der Jahresproduktion in der DDR |
