Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück, Zelle

Zentralbild Zühlsdorf 12.8.1959 Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Buchenwald vor der Vollendung. Die Bauarbeiten an der Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück, die auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Frauenkonzentrationslagers zur Erinnerung an die 92.000 von der SS ermordeten Frauen und Kinder entsteht, stehen vor dem Abschluß. Am 12. September, dem Tag der Opfer des Faschismus, wird die auf Beschluß der Tausende von Frauen aus dem Bezirken Potsdam und Neubrandenburg sowie Frauendelegationen aus zahlreichen europäischen Staaten werden zu den Einweihungsfeierlichkeiten erwartet. UBz: Eine ehemalige Zelle im Arrestgebäude, das zu einem würdigen Museum umgebaut wird.
