For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Marzahn, Bäuerin beim Füttern Zentralbild Martin Ne-Fr 10.2.1960 Vollmichsparende Kälberaufzucht Schon im polytechnischen Unterricht lernt die Oberschülerin Brigitte Staeblein von der Oberschule Friedrichshain in Berlin in der LPG Marzahn die vollmilchsparende Kälberaufzucht kennen. Die weiblichen Kälber erhalten nach der 4. Woche nur noch Magermilch mit Kälpan, wobei jedes Tier 20 gr. bekommt.Die LPG , die etwa 170 Kühe bei 240 ha LN hält, will bis 1965 240 Milchkühe besitzen. Der durchschnittliche Milchertrag je Kuh beträgt in diesem Jahr 3250 kg . Im nächsten jahr soll er 3550 kg je Kuh betragen.
