For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Nekstedt, Maschinenpark der MTS Zentralbild Wittig 7.3.1960 Zum ersten Male gemeinsam werden die Bauern von Riethnordhausen und von Hasslehen im Kreis Erfurt - Land in diesem Frühjahr ihre Felder bestellen. Beide Dörfer sind in den letzten Tagen vollgenossenschafltich geworden. UBz: Die Brigade 8 der MTS Nekstedt, zu deren Berich beide vollenossenschaftlichen Dörfer gehören, wurde zusätzlich mit drei Drillmaschinen, einem Mähhäcksler, einer Rübenvollerntemaschine und einem RS 31 ausgerüstet. In den nächsten Tagen werden noch eine Raupe und weitere Radschlepper erwartet.
