Berlin: Kulturkonferenz eröffnet
Die Kulturkonferenz 1960 des Zentralkomitees der Sozialistischen Einheitspartei Deutschlands, des Ministeriums für Kultur und des Deutschen Kulturbundes ist am 27.4.1960 im Kulturhaus des VEB Elektrokohle in Berlin Lichtenberg von dem Minister für Kultur, Alexander Abusch, eröffnet worden.

UBz.: Heinrich Witz, Kunstmaler aus Leipzig (3.v.rechts) im Gespräch mit Wismut-Kumpeln, in deren Auftrag des Bild "Der neue Anfang", das für den Kunstpreis des FDGB vorgeschlagen wurde, entstand.
