For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Friedensfahrt, Siegerehrung, DDR-Mannschaft Zentralbild Kollektiv 16.5.1960 - XIII. Friedensfahrt 1960. 13. Etappe von Magdeburg nach Berlin am 16.5.1960 über 182 km. Durch Erich Hagen, der die letzte Etappe gewann, kommt der Gesamteinzelsieger aus der Mannschaft der DDR, die ihre bereits auf der 1. Etappe erkämpften blauen Trikots bis nach Berlin verteidigen und demit auch die Mannschaftswertung gewinnen konnten. UBz: Die siegreiche DDR-Mannschaft auf der Ehrenrunde im Walter-Ulbricht-Stadion. vlnr: Hannes Schober, Manfred Weissleder, der Gesamteinzelsieger Erich Hagen, Bernhard Eckstein, Egon Adler und Gustav-Adolf Schur.
